Audition workshop for the dance performance "Woods" (working title)

BodyTech /choreographer Gull Øzger is looking for 1 new dancer for her new production "Woods". 
"Woods" is a contemporary dance performance, for 6 dancers. 

Gull Øzger is looking for a dancer who have undertaken a practical degree in dance for at least 3 years OR have a comparable amount of professional experience.
It is essential that you have good improvisation skills and a willingness to take part in team work. An ability to reflect upon the creative process is desirable. It is important that you have a strong technique and stage presence.

Audition by invitation only. 

Date: Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 August 2012.     
Time: 10 am - 5 pm
Location: Rom for dans, Marstrandgata 8, 0566 Oslo, Norway. Map:

Dates & Fees
Creation period: January + February 2013, (exact dates tbc).                
Premiere: Beginning of March 2013, the Culture House, Gjøvik, Norway
Touring: 3-4 performances following the premiere in March.

Please note that the production will be created in studios in Oslo, before moving to Gjøvik for finalizing. The dancer must be willing to relocate for the creation and production period. 

This project has received Norwegian Arts Council funding and the position is paid.
Note that travel to - and accomodation in Norway will not be paid.
