The 20th to the 26th of August SIB will run its annual dance Lab, SIB Lab in Hamar, Norway. 

At this years Lab we have invited 4 exciting and fresh projects. In 7 days dance artists will work intensively on shaping and creating new work. 

We are looking forward to a week full of inspiration and new creations and this we do not wish to hide. On the 26th of August there will be a work in progress show case where we will present the work that has emerged from hours of hard work. The work in progress is open to the public.

Choreographers at SIB Lab 2012

Gabrielle Rose is a freelance performer and dance artist. Originally from Australia, in 2011 she leapt onto a plane to explore Europe for the first time and further her performance practice. Now Gabrielle is based in London where she creates live work both independently and in collaboration with others. 

Karen Høybakk Mikalsen is establishing an ensamble work based on improvisation and release technique. She works with flocking, individuals/collective, social codes, structures and relations, and how we influence each other - "cause/effect". She works site specific and in collaboration with other arts: Music, design and architecture.  

Helle Levang Moum will let the nature influence her dancers by taking them otside. She will work with character work to tell stories through words and movement. What does the nature do with our body when we are in it? How does it influence our character and the story that will be told. 

Jorge Crecis will be working on a pilot project where he will be recreating
